Hi everyone,

Im a HS Senior, and all of the Colleges I've applied to require a 15" PB, therefore forcing me to sell this 12".

Here are the Specs: Let me know if any of you are interested. email me at rjl10@comcast or just reply to this thread

12" PB 867mhz G4
256MB RAM
40gb HD
Superdrive
Airport Extreme Card Installed
Apple Wireless Keyboard
MAC OS 10.3 Panther
Microsoft Office v.X Student Teacher Edition
Keynote
Targus Leather Carrying Case

and possibly a 30gb iPod to sweeten the deal. It's really too much for me to fill up, and if this is sold I'll just prolly by a 10gb. that should hold me over for a long time

Any Takers?

Wow. Which schools do you go to that require 15" PowerBooks? Sign me up!

:D:D:D:D:D

And sorry I can't buy, but I just bought a brand new 12" myself. Best of luck, though!

are you sure they just havent updated the requirment since the aluminium powerbooks came out?? i would think a 867 or 1ghz 12 would be more approiate than a 550 15".

Agreed... unless you are going to some visual arts school that you need the screen space for like video or picture editing..any new Powerbook should be more than efficient.

Which schools require Macs over Wintels? I should transfer.. (sorry to be off topic).

Good luck with the sale!

In the Boston area, there's Berklee College of Music. With the "new student computer plan" you get a 15" 1GHz TiBook with SuperDrive, plus several thousand dollars worth of pro audio software for $2500. A friend of mine goes there, and he went to the TiBook from some Win 95 POS, he loves it! :D Another friend goes there and brought his PC. My cousin tells me that the PowerBook gets more use ;) I'll have to visit them sometime.
