You are chatting with Cheryl, an Apple Expert
Cheryl:Hi, my name is Cheryl. Welcome to Apple!
Good afternoon.
Me:Hi Cheryl, Any info on when the new iPhone will be available
Cheryl:While I do not have any information on unreleased products, I am happy to answer any questions that you have about our current products.
Me:Why isn't the Current iPhone available for sale? It must mean a new one is coming?
Cheryl:I do not have information on this.
Me: Do you have Mr. Job's direct extension so I can ask him about this matter?
Cheryl:You can email apple by selecting contact us.
Thank you for visiting the Apple Store. We appreciate your business.
Thank you for contacting the Apple Store. If you require further assistance, please call 1-800-MY-APPLE.

She immedieately ended the Chat after I asked about el jobso.

I would hate to work at Apple customer service with all you guys asking questions that you know they can't answer. Leave the peeps alone.

Really... what was the point of this?

I don't see why people bother to call AT&T, the Apple store, AppleCare, Apple PR or anyone else with questions about unreleased products. You're wasting their time and when you post about it here, you just get a lot of eyeballs rolled at you.

I hope you people understand that wasting employes time cost Apple money since they are paid by the hour. Those costs are then past on to you and I in increased product prices.

How would you like it if I came to your work.

Let's say Subway. I ask why you don't have head cheese sandwiches. You don't know and you probably don't care. I say all the rumor sites say you are going to get it in on Monday.

You make $8.00/hr making sandwiches. Yet some jerk keeps asking for product you don't have and don't know when you are getting it in.

Why make their life miserable too?

Yeah this is just stupid, way to waste the rep's time. Plus this wasn't even funny, if it was somewhat funny I am sure you get your props, but this was, dumb, silly and mind numbing....my .02

I swear my cousin WAS a customer service rep for Apple to those who called in, he made $13/hr while he was in college in California.....not bad for some rep work! Not being a jerk, just stating something I know fig'd I'd pass it along.
