Hi guys. I am currently looking for a PC with atleast the following specs:

Pentium 3, 512 MBs of RAM, 40 GB HD, and atleast a Radeon 9200 or better.

A valid copy of Windows 98, Windows 2000, or Windows XP installed onto it too, please.

Can be either a laptop or a desktop. Please PM me or reply here. I have sold and bought stuff on MacRumors numerous times, and I always pay with money orders or checks. ;)

Wow, very nice.

I am looking to spend as little as possible because all I need this PC for is an old game.

Is the graphics card upgradeable? Have you had any problems with it? Name your price. :D Local pickup would do wonders.

Desktop:

I have a custom built Pentium 4 at 2.8 ghz. It has 2gigs of ram, an AGP 512mb video card, 80 gig hard drive plus a raptor 74gig drive installed. It's in a Coolermaster Wave case (http://www.irwintech.com/index1.html). It includes 2 dvd burners as well. It has Windows XP Pro installed (OEM disk included).

I'm in SD, and it would probably cost about $40 to ship (heavy-ish). I also have a 19" Sceptre LCD monitor. It's not a widescreen, but I can let it go for cheap. The mouse options are a Logitech corded (nothing special), or a wireless with USB charging dock. I also have a Microsoft Natural 4000 ergonomic USB keyboard in excellent shape. It's all in excellent condition, well cared for, and no issues.

Laptop:

I also have a laptop you may be interested in. It's an HP 14" 1.6ghz (AMD) with 2gigs ram, 40 gig hard drive, and not sure on the graphics (probably integrated). It works great, but the touch pad is crap. I'd use a mouse with it because the mouse buttons are moody. There is a crack in the casing on the right corner, but it's just aesthetic and doesn't effect performance. It has a PCMCIA wireless G card by Belkin.

It has a network and modem port, 2 USB ports, S-video, and VGA. Windows XP Home installed, (gotta find the disk). I'll throw in a Logitech notebook wireless mouse with a usb key. This is worth about $250-$300. Well cared for, no issues other than mentioned.

Let me know if you're interested in either. :)

Altogether, the desktop is probably worth about $350-$400 plus shipping. Make me an offer if interested. :)

I think it would be easier and cheaper if I just bought Thirteen's PC since he is local... but I am interested in the 19" monitor, what is the resolution on that baby, what type of input does it have, and how much are you approximately looking for?

Yeah makes sense considering the weight of a CPU! Here are the specs:

Resolution: 1280x1024
Inputs: VGA, DVI, USB x 2 (plus USB upstream connection)
Response time: 12ms
Removable power cable

To buy a brand new model with these specs from same company costs $199.

I think I can let it go for $60 shipped? Let me know. :)

Sounds like a good deal... do you mind if I look around for other monitors and let you know next week?

If the computer is cheap enough, I will buy it.

That's fine, have a look and see if you can find anything you like better. If not, let me know. Good luck to you. :)
