Thursday's story on the 'Apple Holiday Gift Guide' was a feature on some image that was apparently pulled at the request of Apple legal.

Was anyone able to download it, cache it or even see it? My curiosity is amped.

Could be legit, but I remember...

Wasn't it spymac.com that posted the "apple legal made us pull these pics" to boost their creditability?

It looked like the image on the top half of this website: http://www.apple.com/giftguide/

The difference is that the original version went "Someone you know loves Macs-Someone you know loves music-Someone you know loves movies-Someone you know loves photos".

On CARS, it said, "Someone you know loves Macs-Someone you know loves music-Someone you know loves movies-Somone you know loves porn"

The porn one had a photo of a well-endowed brunette from the midriff up (she was wearing a bra).

I find this claim very hard to believe. Apple has a clean image like the one that Disney had while Walt was in charge.

Yup, unlike now...Eisner changed all that alright.

CARS probably posted an inappropriate "suggested use" for buying an iSight this holiday season as a laugh...and Apple didn't appreciate it.
