What web sites do you check compulsively throughout the day/week?
Me:
- www.macrumors.com (obviously)
- www.baynews9.com (local news and weather - keeping my fingers crossed that global warming will reverse before I have to leave the office)
- www.nifty.org (not for the faint of heart, or MyMemory)
- www.salon.com (brilliant, just brilliant)
- www.nytimes.com ('specially on Sundays)

wow, we're more alike than i knew...
MR
nytimes.com -- best layout there is, i say
nifty.org (hehehehe)
and been to salon a few times...
other than those,
onion.com weekly
landoverbaptist.com monthly
snopes.com to check updates
apple.com to look for *anything* at all new
and when i'm particularly bored, shockwave's jigsaw puzzles do the trick nicely :) and comedycentral's south park pinball... ;)

:D he he he....I think we've been through this one before...but here goes anyway :
www.macrumors.com (http://www.macrumors.com)
(who would have thought?!)
www.istockphoto.com (http://www.istockphoto.com)
(I have photography on this site...just search for username "eyelikeart"...and yes I do like creative criticism)
www.aol.com (http://www.aol.com)
(I have to check my email about 2 dozen times a day u know ;))
www.shockwave.com (http://www.shockwave.com)
(killer games to help curb my boredom of work)
www.weather.com (http://www.weather.com)
(obviously, anyone from here knows the weather in New Orleans can do anything within a 5 minute period...ex. it's 65? outside in May - this is very abnormal for a New Orleans summer!)

and to think, i liked you so much. then i find out you use AOL.
you're on probation for using such a service. i hope this doesn't become a problem. you will cancel your AOL accounts promptly. have a nice day.

Here is what I think of AOL:
You have to pay for S you probably will never use (parental control, and you are young...)
As slow as a slug
According to what I have seen, IE is more popular, and free.
I use Netscape (I know, slow and "heavy", but I might switch to Mozilla) and I usually visit these sites (in absolutely no particular order):
Apple Computer Corp. Website
Netscape
Pacific Tech Homepage
Epson
Macrumors Forum Pages
Altavista Search Engine
CNET
Videogames Reviews and Game News Site

u should know that I am literally laughing right now at my computer screen...:D
anyway...yes it is ******* service...but for me at the point I'm in with my life it works out quite well...
I only pay $3.95 a month to keep my account...I use the DSL to access email & such...and I use AIM anywhere...so no worries...
but when I was about to jump ship and to go Oklahoma City....ugh....sorry...I was looking into other options....Earthlink was my first pick..but it wasn't available in the mid-west :(
