I've got a couple of Macs which I may be considering selling at some point soon but would like to ask if anyone would care to give a ballpark estimate of the likely prices they may fetch? UK prices would be preferable. :)

1. 17" MacBook Pro, C2D 2.33, 3gb RAM, matte display, stock 160gb 5400 drive (http://www.everymac.com/systems/apple/macbook_pro/stats/macbook-pro-core-2-duo-2.33-17-specs.html)
This machine is absolutely pristine — almost as new — as it has spent its entire life indoors, kept free from dust, on a stand connected to an external display and keyboard. Still got the box and all parts. The keyboard on it has probably been used about 3-4 times since it was purchased.

2. 13" Black MacBook, C2D 2.16, 2gb RAM, stock 160gb 5400 drive, superdrive (http://www.everymac.com/systems/apple/macbook/stats/macbook-core-2-duo-2.16-black-13-mid-2007-specs.html)
Also in excellent condition, gets used about an hour or so each week indoors, never dropped or dinged. As above; box, disks and parts all present and correct.

I'm thinking of selling both in order to get a new 2.6 15" MBP, by the way. Thanks for any thoughts.

Cheers
BV

i would say 700-800p for the mbp due to ram upgrade..and never used.

and 600p or a little less for the blackbook.

could be off, but this is what a fair and good price would be if i was selling it.

hope this helps.
