Hi there,

I hope I'm posting this in the right area. (first post)

I have a Powermac G4 (AGP graphics, 1gb ram, 450 mhz prosesor 120GB hard drive space 40gb and a 80gb) as well as a Mac mini (intel) running leopard. I have the disks for the mac mini, and a fire wire cable and was wondering how do I install leopard on the un-supported G4 with some assistance of the mini. I do not have an external hard drive so that is not an option... but using target disk mode (I've heard) that this is possible. How to do theses steps is a mystery for me, so any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance,

The disk that came with the mini is for the mini. It is not legal to try to install it on other systems. Sensible people are not going to help you do it; the forum administrators would be upset. There is a thread about installing on non-supported systems though.

how many people are asking this question? do a forum search, but you shouldn't do it as it is illegal
