So I have a MBP that is:
17"
2.16 ICD
120g HD
2g RAM
Good shape with minor wear (some slight black blemishes where my left hand rests to the left of the trackpad)
What do you guys think is a fair price to try and sell....I am going to get myself a refurb 3.06 iMac.
I have looked around but price points range within a $400 dollar range (ie: 1500 - 1900)

it's worth @ $1000 - and if you wait until after the upcoming update it will be worth less........

I'd go with 1500, it's less than a refurb [current] 2.4 Ghz 15 inch. I would gladly take a hit with the screen being 2 inches less on the refurb 15 inch, but a cheaper price on a (2 gen old) 17 inch would certainly persuade me.

Yeah,
1500 is kinda what I was thinking. Was gonna try 1600 but 1500 is half of what was paid for this.
Just been itching to get the top end iMac. Hoping the longevity on that is good lol. (is longevity even a term when referring to macs??)
/sigh now to deal with craigs list.....

Mac2Sell.net says it's worth about $1360, so you could probably get at least $1400 or more for it on eBay or Craigslist.
