Will there be a 64bit G5?
if so, where is the 64bit operating system and all the new 64bit programmes optimized for that processor?

If they bring the OS up to 64bit I don't think we will need to bring all the apps up (emulation) a big give away will be if OS X.2 is 64bit.

Anyone no how to tell :)

if you want to use the full power you need 64bit applications... emulation is ok - but if i have a 64bit processor i want to have optimized applications and so the maxuimum power!

every rumor I've seen since the first rumblings about the G5 was that it would run 32 bit natively as well as 64 bit, meaning no emulation would be necessary and everything could migrate forward at a slow but steady pace.
