Hi all!
Guess what! I got a 10g iPod for christmas and I can't even use it yet! I have an older iMac and i knew it wouldn't be very compatable, but I just assumed (stupidly) that I could at least drag music files from my shared preferences folder into it. I couldn't, and after trying to install OS X (unsuccessfully) and sending an angry e-mail to Apple, I'm getting a new eMac. Go me! Just thought I'd let everyone know. Bye.

sending an angry e-mail to Apple

Take some friggin responsibility for your actions. You assumed wrong, didn't even read the damn box, didn't bother to check the website (http://www.apple.com/ipod/specs.html), yet you feel compelled to moan about it to Apple. You could have asked any one of us here about the iPod, and we would have set you straight.

I can't believe people these days..
