mac Mini Leopard DVD on Macbook

I have tiger installed on my Macbook, Can I use my mac mini Leopard DVD to upgrade?
I don't need to do a clean installation just an upgrade, would this work?

No. Apple lock the disks that ship with machines to only work on the machine type they ship with, so Mac Mini disks only work on Mac Minis and no other type of Mac.

In addition this would be software piracy as you would not have a license to run Leopard on your Macbook. And we don't talk about piracy on these forums.
