Buying refurb products from Cancom UK

Does anyone have any experience of buying refurbished kit from Cancom UK? They're selling old-style 20Gb iPods for around £230 and was wondering whether it would be sensible to go for it - or get a smaller, brand new (but pricier) version...

They always seem so expensive, why not just scrape together the last few quid and have the luxury of a new iPod?

Most of the time they should be called "products they gave up repairing and the original owner was given a new one" or just "second hand".

Seems too much to me, otherwise I'd love to own quality second hand Mac equipment, it's top notch stuff.
