How do you add rar apps to iphone??

I have this website with a bunch of rar apps and i want to know how to get them working on my iphone. all the .zip files work nicely and all have to do is copy the file to the applications folder on the iphone, but the .rar's don't give the right files to actually do that. can someone please help me? thanks

google unrar and download UnRarx open it and make so it shows up on the desktop then drag the .rar file to it. You should see it on on your desktop another icon and it should say the name of your app without the rar the just drag that to /Applications

i didn't say anything about pirating apps. this is a way i found out how to install applications on my iphone bypassing cydia and installer

I'll save you some time when you freak out in a bit: restore your phone and hope nothing broke. Then don't do it again.

I'm going to give benefit of the doubt and say this isn't about pirating. However, I need to have more info before I can help. If you can unrar the files, what is the file/folder structure you are seeing?

honestly, i'm trying to get the netshare app. you all know it's been taken off itunes so i don't know if that is still considered pirating bc there is no place for me to even buy it. heres what's inside the folder...

If you double click on the .ipa file, it will open in iTunes then you can sync it to your phone. The other files are support files, and I'm guessing the readme is instructions on how to set the file permissions, etc that you will need to in order for this to work. Disregard the .ru and .url files, you don't need them.
You're still going to need to replace the MobileFramework file on your iphone for the app to work, and change some permissions.

if you knew what i was talking about, you'd understand that the files in the .rar's are not the same as .zips. therefore importing them is a problem

but i would pay for like i did super monkey ball and mobilechat if i could. but there is no way for me to do that now is there? what are my options if i want to get netshare on my iphone like other users have already done and were fortunate enough to buy before it was taken off?

simple. you dont HAVE the option to get netshare anymore. just because something is DISCONTINUED doesn't mean you can claim some sort of free rights to it or some nonsense. smarten up and lose the crappy logic.

i do have the option and i plan on donating the money i would have paid through the app store bc this is definitely worth the $10 price tag and more. smarten up and realize that some people actually respect the time and effort of the developers and don't want to see them stop making great apps and want to support their cause.
