hi, say if i have a pdf manual for some software.
i like to mark it up with comments and highlighting etc...
but sometimes it wont let you as theres security on it....
anyone recommend good app to remove this security?
for example, i got logic manual from apple site, and ive been marking it with my pc.....but on mac....it wont let me.....is this the actual pdf, or the acrobat ?

Bob, besides spamming, 1 post is enough, your asking for something that can break encryptions. There are programs, legal ones, that let you edit PDF's except those that are protected.
Adobe is the best obviously, then there's http://www.officialpdfconverter.com/

all i wanna do i mark up pdfs with highlighter and pencil...

Not really trying to be funny, but, then print them out, and highlite to your hearts content. Protected ones when they were created, did not want folks to mess with them, hence the reason to password protect them. We have that type at work, and they can't be modified, or highlited.
