Your argument was simply unclear and inconsistent. Firstly it's not funny because it's illegal and other people who find it funny is just retarded, then it's not funny because you have had a bad experience with a drug overdose in the family.

My uncle has cancer and will most likely die from it this year or the next but this doesn’t rule out me or my friends joking about not eating something because it gives you cancer.

Haven't you guys seen walk hard?! Weed is the perfect drug. It is non addictive, you don't get hungover from it, sex is even better with it, you can't OD on it, and it is the cheapest drug there is.
