It's an update for Aperture.

iPhone updates won't come from the Apple Software Updater, only through iTunes.

You're probably looking at the Apple Updater install program thingy, that was also reported to be at 2.1.1 a good month ago. It may help to look exactly at the wording of what you're seeing on the alert before jumping willy-nilly at saying something is released..

True enough but this is the second post in the past few weeks which did the exact same thing....2.1.1 is out!!! Yeah...oh wait its Apple Software Update. You'd think people have used Itunes/ASU enough to know the difference and know that iphone updates are never pushed out via ASU.
