How do I use Time Capsule with Tiger..? I simply do not see it on my desktop, it never shows up. I was told when i bought it that it would work with tiger. I've tried connecting via ethernet, and I also have airport turned on, but I do not see any evidence of my capsule, other than in the airport admin utility, which reads me the specs on it... but this is useless, i need to see it as a 'hard drive' or something such, on my desktop, in order to use it for the function i bought it for: backing up data... however, i cannot backup data, because i do not see it anywhere!!
Any help is greatly, greatly appreciated.
Thank you

Have you followed the instructions in the manual?

In a Finder window, if you go to Network at the top, does the name of your your Time Capsule not appear?
After that, you click on it, click on whatever you named your Time Capsule when you set it up, and then use whatever username and password you created when you set it up if it asks you.

I thought Time Machine was an upgrade in Leopard? Or do you just want to use it as a separate drive to manually put stuff on?

Do you have all the updates installed for Tiger and the Airport Utility?
