Which LCD to get?

I'm looking to buy a new LCD monitor. I was thinking about getting a Dell FP1800 LCD Screen. They run about 450$ on ebay, and they use DVI connectors.

What do you guys think? 450$ is about my limit to spend. I want something 18.0" or bigger.

Check TigerDirect. They have an 18.1 inch for $389.99.

From what I've read those are really good monitors, I was going to buy one myself this Summer (waited for a new PB instead).

Sometimes Dell runs coupon offers to save up to 15% or more.. so keep the eye out for one of those. Also if you are able to order from the small business page you can also get a discount.

Price aside I'd say go for it...

I got a Gateway FPD1830 (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2780841163&category=29503) on eBay a while back for $400.00. Great monitor, not a single dead pixel. Very bright. Better than 1024x768 resolution, so I'm happy (1280x1024).

Go check 'em out. Check out some images you know. You may find an inexpensive one that's going to suit you fine.
