Trackpad and Ibook

Just installed panther in a ibook 900. The trackpad worked fine until I plugged in my USB mouse (Macally). Now I just can't use the trackpad, it doesn't appear in the system preferences!!!!

Any suggestions???

the mouse and keyboard system panel should have a tab for trackpad settings...

in it, you probably have the "Disable trackpad when mouse is connected" option checked..?

Thanks for the responce, but the trackpad option does not show up in the system prefs...so I don't know what to do...

hmm, doesn't sound so good... :(

how did you install your panther? clean install?

Not clean, upgrade....maybe I should do that....
