question on exchanging apps!

For what it's worth, the App Store was designed so that multiple phones on the same iTunes account can use the same purchased app copies (legally), but an iPhone can only belong to one iTunes account at a time, so you would essentially have to let your friend manage your whole iPhone -- it would only be able to play purchased music and video from his account (and not yours at the same time) and ditto for apps.
