But Microsoft made its Windows operating system easier to use in the 1990s. And with the range of software for the Macintosh comparatively limited, Apple's share began to erode to IBM and its clones.

If anything its got more complecated and anoying its only just starting to get back on its feet. osx has been going as long as xp and is far far better...:D and yes i use pcs with xp
