I know this is the buying forum not the selling one (if there is even one?), but I'm eventually going to sell my PowerMac G5 and I'm wondering if anyone could help me out on an appropriate price. Here's the specs

2.0 GHz Dual Processor PowerMac G5
2 GB RAM
160 HDD
Airport Extreme
Bluetooth
Wire Keyboard and Wire Mouse Included
Includes original software that came with the machine (Panther), but could install Leopard for buyer

that's about it, it's in great condition, I took very good care of it, I bought it for $2,700, I'm thinking of selling it for $1,000..too much? too little? any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks..

that sounds like a good price. best bet is to check your local craigs list and list yours as something similar. Here they seem to be going for about $1000

I've used mac2sell.net as a reference for pricing. You may need to adjust slightly for some options with your system.

The prices it show seem to be lower then what I see on Craigslist but do give you a good idea of a bottom line value.

If you list your computer make sure you include pictures and a decent description. That along with a realistic price will help a lot.
