llrc, you can use any copy of os 10.4 to upgrade any mac, is this right? couple friends of mine have the disk.

I think its time for my rev.d powerbook for leopard.

I'm wastelanding this because, as far as I can tell, you're soliciting the sale of the discs to yourself -- you may not post WTB or FS threads until you become eligible for the Marketplace.

Regarding the other aspects of your question:

- All OS X install discs come in at least two main varieties... there are grey ones that are system restore CDs/DVDs and black ones that are retail installs. The grey ones only work with the model and generation with which they were shipped. The black ones generally install on anything.

- FWIW, with Tiger, there are only PPC black retail discs, as far as I know. There were never retail Tiger / Intel or Tiger / Universal discs sold -- only the grey restore discs.

- All Leopard black retail discs are Universal Binary.
