that first one is a bit overwhelming...but it's strong...
the second one is much easier to take in...makes a strong statement...
simplicity...that's where it's at...;)

Ohh god, I remember those non-antialiased X11 fonts. :) They kind of give that first one the opposite effect that it should have. (Welcome to the 1990s, X Window System.) I'm all for running Microsoft into the ground, but it's not gonna be done with inferior technology.

Wow, hadn't ever seen that Power Computing add, 225 MHz, ha!
Nostalgia.....
Those fonts are a bit hard on the eyes and have windows written all over them....

Wow I feel like I 'm in 1995! That battle map is very funny. You should add XP to battle OS X.

Actually in X11 there are several windows managers that support antialiased fonts...

Yeah, Thanks KenCooler, I'm not using no PC! :), I found that pic off the internet, and yes, it was some flavor of Linux, I believe RedHat. I hope everyone liked them, I know I did :D

Well, the Apple Front should be updated with the addition of the new super weapon the XServe. That would push us even deeper into M$ territory and should have them on the run in a few months.....

I love graphics in the post or threads!
We need more of them! they always make a thread more interesting for me.
Now that punching chracter is a comic strip character from a particular strip whose name eludes me at the moment~
ANyone know?
Was it Little Annie or Mary Lou?

I think the character's name was Sluggo, or something to that effect ;) I do agree, pictures are great in posts...:D

Sluggo is the name all right and i think it was in the Mary Lou strip.
A rather interesting choice to portray Apple, :P

Nothing wrong with loving macs, they have a great OS but slow components. My tibook crawls compared to my thinkpad.

This picture could be taken from a Mac running Linux or Unix like Yellow Dog (that setting is available in YDL 2.1) or NetBSD. But most likley it was taken from an i386 system.
