View Full Version : How much should I sell my black MacBook for?

I bought it from Apple's website with the Apple Care at the end of August, and I'm also selling it with the original Microsoft Office 2008 for Mac Home and Student Edition software.

I wanna use the money to buy the new MacBook.

It's in perfect condition and only a little over 1 month old.

What should be the most I sell it for?

I think you should post this in the Feeler's section if there is one or in the Marketplace.

Feeler section is in the marketplace and the requirement is now 250 posts and six months of membership to be able to post there.

Check http://www.mac2sell.net/ to get an estimate of the current value, and eBay/Craigslist for recent selling prices.

You've got about 105 more posts before you can move it here, though. :)

Alright, I told myself I wasn't going to post again until tomorrow (this is #500 for me! WOO! 6502a!)

However, I just have to say that that site you gave is either really mean or just out to get Macs on the market for cheap! It told me that the MBP in my signature is worth $1320US. C'mon! A like new recent model MBP for 1320? That's scam-worthy right there!

Anyways. Congrats to me for making it to 6502a status!

That site is really inaccurate most of the time by a few hundred.

Desktops loose value faster than notebooks. My 2.5 yr old MBP is still getting $1050 from mac2sell.
