If the current rumors are true about the new Macbooks and pricing, I'm going straight for a refurb. I can't see MUCH of an upgrade. The processor is 2.0 GhZ on entry, rather than 2.1. There's no point in that! And the higher end MB is still 2.4 Ghz. There's no firewire port either. Waste of time and money if you ask me. Refurb bound if Steve Jobs doesn't whet my appetite for one his fantastic great new Aluminium MBs.
