I have a couple of questions.

1. What is the the best way to play sof 2 online? i recenlty connected broadband and am keen to try it out but can't seem to get anywhere.

2. Would anyone know if/when a mac version of BF1942 would be coming out?

dont hold your breath kid...
i doubt this game will ever be ported to the mac, but if it does expact lots of bugs to go along with it.

just my two cents...

however i just built a p.c. so i can play the desertcombat mod with my friends.

It would be better to port BF Vietnam which is coming on the PC soon, but since it requires a 3Ghz PC with Radeon9800 to run well. I expect only the dual 1.8 and 2Ghz Macs will be able to play the game.

This is what I understood. EA was not at all anxious to release the source code for porting because of propeitary issues. But if Aspyr was able to convince them that they would make some money on a mac version who knows. EA is as greedy as microsoft in some ways:)

Some interesting opinions on bf1942 and would hope that it would happen sooner or later however...

I have a 256K adsl setup and wanted some advice in setting up online gaming for my mac.

granted, the mac is a productivity machine that is not designed for games (it kicks the arse of anything that comes near it in terms of bang for your buck editing with fcp 4!) but I do like the odd fps potshot.

so my q is:

how do you setup the multiplayer option for something like SoF II?

Any advice would be appreciated.
