problem with system permissions

This is the first time OSX asked me this...
It said that i couldn't open something in classic mode because i don't have enough permissions and suggests I change the permissions. I have no idea what time means or where i go to change permissions...please help

YEAH! I had that too once or twice. I can't remember what I was trying to do.
It's complete ************. It's my own damn MAC and I do not have permission to do certain things. Screw it. I immediately booted up in OS9 again.

It was actually a system error...kind of...o.O
I was able to fix the problem after I ran Norton utilies and fixed the weird system boot problems. I guess that's the only way to get rid of it...other than that, i have no idea.
