A very interesting topic. The Amero is a currency that the US plans to make North American wide after it goes bankrupt. It seems that Europe has know about this for a while, while North Americans no almost nothing about what could eventually happen. Here is a more recent video describing this: http://video.google.ca/videoplay?doc...l+turner&hl=en

Has anyone seen the first or second Zeitgeist? From this point of view Banks, (monetary system) control the nation, while Governments are there simply to back them up.

Link is not working.

I don't see this happening. Sounds like a conspiracy theory to me.

Is this a conspiracy theory post, or a general discussion on what would be the pros and cons of an all North American currency? I don't want to sound rude, but your post seems to be all over the place.

Sorry -- this post was moved here by me, and the OP isn't eligible to post in PRSI and therefore can't discuss it. If anyone actually is interested in the Amero, I can leave this thread here, or I can wasteland it....

The video link looks malformed -- it's abbreviated (with ellipsis dots).

I'd say send it to the wasteland.

Agreed. The Amero is a conspiracy theory cooked up and supported by Ron Paulites. It has no basis in reality.

It's already there (http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?goto=newpost&t=596045), have no doubt. This is simply the second iteration.
