Hi all,

On my honor as an American and good citizen, I promise this is no hoax.

It took me about 4 month to figure this out. At first I was ready to give back the 881u since I am living in a remote location and could only receive the Edge wireless system. Then something extraordinary happened.

I have not opened the device in any way, or attached any sort of external power source of any type whatsoever. At first my idea only recieved one bar at 3g but kept switching over automatically to the non 3g Edge signals. I decided to do some research at my college library and started experimenting with some very interesting old theories that I found have never been used before by private or commercial use and there is no patents at all.

I checked my speeds this morning through http://www.speedtest.net I am now receiving 3g only signals at four and five bars from -76dBm to average of -79. My speeds according to a web site I used to test my speeds at: 1380 kb/s download and 1163 kb/s upload speeds and ping at 210ms. The server I tested on from a remote area where I live in North Lake County CA is located in Springfield, MO a distance of 1400 miles.

I am able to receive flawless streaming video, regular video with no compression whatsoever at these and higher speeds consistantly for over a month now. I have been able to watch entire movies with no interuptions or hesitations whatsoever unless it's the fault of a slow server, not from my end at all. I'm using no devices, routers, boosters or external antennas connected to the device. I recreated the circumstances on a small device between the device and computer or laptop using two 3foot USB extentions with the 881 air card at the end. This is something I completely invented myself with no help from anyone, that took me about 4 months to develop and implement. There are no copyrights or pending copyrights so I am applying for the patent today this morning with the aid of an attorney. There is no bleedover or harmfull leakage of any sort of harmful waves of any type. A professor freind of mine tested it and everything is perfectly up to par. No overage on signal strength and everything meets all guidlines.

Here's the thing though: I live over 60 miles from the nearest 3g tower and over ten miles from the nearest Edge tower. I took my laptop to a very remote canyon about 20 miles further north and am still receiving perfecty flawless consistant speeds of -80dBm and the same or just a little lower upload and download speeds. I went to AOL videos and watched to full episodes of Kung Fu starring David Carridine and his father John Carridine from the canyon.

I then went to the library at the college I am attending about 30 miles south east and picked up perfect signals at the same speeds flawlessly.

I then drove to Humbolt County near Leggett CA and the speeds were about the same a little lower but I was still able to watch movies and any video live streaming.

I called Sierra Wireless a couple of times to inform them of what I found. My girlfriend and family believe and insist I should make a profit form my idea so I can't just give the specs to what I did so I think Sierra expected me to just tell them or they will not take me seriously. I called AT&T several times and the same happened. One tech took me seriously and listened in on the movies over the phone I was watching and told me he would have someone call me in a few days. Someone called and just expected me to write an e-mail and attach specs and a photo of my invention with no offer of any sort of compensations. I fealt bad because I know this is a major breakthrough in communications but I should profit like everyone else in the business. I just can't roll over and give this away to anyone.

A PhD in computer science who worked for NASA for twenty years and also another very high government agency is coming over this morning to certify my invention which he is putting in formal writing. I guess I will go ahead and talk to an attorney here in a few moments but I just want to let everyone know that there is great hope out there for perfect broadband wirelss from anywhere to anywhere in the world no matter how far or remote, this works wonderfully. I just hope AT&T's customers will be the first to enjoy this.

It works so great I'm having a yard sale and selling all my TV's and radios and I have no more need. I did try to hook this up to HDTV but a smaller TV and it worked great with a video out card.

So hand in there and don't give up hope!!!

Good luck.

I've a feeling this thread will either be a great success, or quickly locked.

My attorney is on the way over now. I have to put the device somewhere for now until this is all cleared up. My freind who worked for NASA will be here shortly again too.

I'll check back as soon as I network into a different network as I was told I must put my device in a secure place for now.

I hope people do benefit soon.
