i got one from a friend that won it from a super big gulp

all u do is go to the store, type in the code and it gives you credit

it doesnt give you $ but rather 1 song + your current balance

and once u buy a song it takes from your free songs first

I wish it would tell you (for instance) in your shopping cart that instead of $0.99 it put the word "Free" in that location. I was wary about hitting purchase having not used one yet... it worked fine but it's not very informative.

At least one person caught on... I was just messin' around... but I wonder how many people tried the code... hmmmm... :) I have thought of posting a valid code in my .sig and seeing if it works after the end of the month still... :)

I don't really care to take from someone else. It was interesting that you did it though. :D

I doubt seriously I'll be downloading any music from the music store until they improve the quality of the encoding but you never know.

It is not that hard. Take and look up the 1lt. bottle towards the cap. It is pretty easy to tell when it is a winner. better if you use a flashlight.

I tried to see what was under the cap when I bought mine, but it's not too easy to see. Maybe I should tip the bottle to one side from now on.

I've found it's easy to see if you look for the word "SONG" by holding the bottle up and tilted to the side, and looking under the cap while spinning the bottle all the way around :D

Without using that method, I'm 4/8.

Well the stats worked for me today just as posted. I purchased 3 Diet Pepsi's at a local Deli. One was for a friend, she wamted diet. I got the diet because that was the only avialable soda today wit the yellow cap. Wow, now I've got my 1st cap. :cool:

I bought one bottle -- quite a rare event for me -- and won. It took me two days to finish the soda.

Ever look at the calorie content of a bottle of cola? (Not the serving content, the whole bottle.) Of course this doesn't apply to the aspartame crowd, but I have to ask what's wrong with water? :).

I can confrim that it's easy to cheat on the 20oz bottles as well. The word AGAIN or something is visible on the losers and SONG on the winners.

The only place that sells them is this gas station at the end of my street, but I try to avoid it because at any given time there are at least 5 cigarretes burning in that place. Every time I walk out of there I smell like an ashtray.:(

0 for 0 -- I can't seem to find any place here in Albuquerque that has the contest bottles. Plenty of places that sell Pepsi, but none with yellow caps :(.

On the plus side I drink Pepsi almost as often as I should drink water, so when they do get the contest bottles in somewhere, I'll be getting a lot more music.
