For thsoe of you who think that Barack Obama getting elected to the White House and the Democrats winning a large majority in the congress indicates some sort of seismic shift in the American perception of Socialism, entitlement programs, and redistribution of the wealth... THINK DIFFERENT:

IBD/TIPP = FAIL ;)

Funny how the forum software tries to fix an all-caps post.

Well its a good thing Obama isn't a socialist, then.

When will you get over this? All of the real socialists on this forum have repeatedly told you that Obama does not represent our views, and that a progressive tax system ≠ socialist.

IBD/TIPP = FAIL ;)

Funny how the forum software tries to fix an all-caps post.

I didn't even notice who that IBD did the poll. That makes this even more pathetic/hilarious.

Americans don't understand socialism. How many times does that have to be said?

Oh, and Obama is not a socialist.

Most of them don't understand it, either.

Now you're bloody trolling, and are going off of the sensationalist media definition of 'socialism'. Neither the media, nor the Republican party know the true meaning of the word.

Apparently it's working in other parts of the world with more efficient governments (Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Netherlands), producing smarter people (like those speaking fluent English, and it being their 3rd and 4th languages).

I'll let the others rake this thread over the coals, so I'll just say to just stop. Once again, FUD.. makes me wonder if this is the only platform the Reds have to stand on.
