Can I put PC 3200 RAM in a 1.6 G5 without having any problems? (My friend will bring it to Japan, but I'm not sure if I'll have a 1.6 or the 1.8 Dual G5 by the time she arrives. Getting PC 3200 would cover both possibilities.
Pardon my ignorance and thanks.

you will have no problems whatsoever
the pc2700 or pc3200 is just a reference to how fast the memory CAN go, so if you run pc3200 memory at pc2700 speeds, it will do it fine, very easily even.
but it doesnt work the other way.

Well almost true, You wouldn't have any troubles running pc2700, in the higher model G5's as long as all the other RAM was pc2700. And if it were mixed I'm 90% sure that the other RAM would be down clocekd to match the slowest RAM in the system.:p
