i've had this MBP for about a month now. when i first got it, i was downloading torrents perfectly. but a couple weeks ago i started receiving an error message when i would hit the download button on a website, such as --removed-- i get the error both in safari and in firefox. it say's that the torrent could not be saved because the source file could not be read. i tried saving the file and then renaming the extension, as i read in other threads, but it was to no avail. i don't understand why this is happening with every single torrent i try to download. a friend of mine isn't experiencing this same issue and he's running a MBP as well. here is the link to a screen shot of the error. anyone else out there experiencing the same?

I'm not sure what's up with that but I don't think you'll receive a lot of help here for that particular problem, as per forum rules (http://guides.macrumors.com/Help:Forum_Rules).

Well the sites that the OP was originally listing goes to support that view and is therefore against the rules.
