Ti800 Screen Problems

I have a tibook, 800, 60 gigs, 1 gig ram...

when i put it to sleep, and wake it up, the screen usually screws up...green lines that appear and dissapear, and other random screen screw ups. If i restart, its fine. If it doesnt go to sleep, its fine.

What the heck is wrong?

i've had some problems sleeping my 667 TiBook as well. if i've been using it for about a whole day and i try to close the screen to put it to sleep, when the screen is closed the sleep light comes on and then in about 5 seconds the screen comes on again, while it is still closed! anyway, i think it had something to do with running Quark and Photoshop 6 in Classic mode. i don't do that much anymore and it seems to be going ok. anyway, i can't help you, sorry. it's a shame to hear that you are having problems, hope that Apple can help. good luck with everything.:)
