Hi everyone, most of us have heard about UFO’s and all the stuff about the reports on them. There have been research on them and many things said and done, but it is still not clear if they really do exist or not. What do you people say on this?

They do exist. First-hand experience.
Oh, and I met Elvis while being abducted.

Whether or not it's the big cheese testing out new aircraft or aliens from another planet or time, I've definitely seen some strange things that all took place around the space of a few months 2 years back.
-Before I knew what it could have been I saw the ol' doughnuts-on-a-rope jetstream whilst up on the moors. Didn't hear anything or see them appear though.
-Saw what I thought was a commercial airplane (just 2 lights next to each other) that 'split' and flew in different directions. Whole thing was silent. Saw this with a friend too.
-Every now and then on the moors you can hear a low rumbling, like a helicopter that's had it pitch thrown down some and see a tiny black spec up in the sky. When the spec moves on the sound goes. It's much higher than any other helicopter I've seen, can't even make the blades or shape out.
Even my pops who thinks aliens and such are a load of nonsense saw an object fly overhead (back in the 70's) and land in a forest of a local nature reserve. He's not the only one who's seen that over the years but there's simply no room for anything to land and no sign that leaves etc have been blown aside by low flighting helicopters.
After watching some show about UFO's though it's obvious that these are mostly military machines. Shame they can't tell us about them.

- Have people seen stuff in the sky that they can't identify?
Most definitely yes.
- Is this stuff that people are seeing proof that we are being visited by beings from another planet?
Absolutely not (it only proves that people see stuff in the sky and that they suck at identifying it).
- Is it likely that we have been visited by beings from another planet?
It's so unlikely it's not funny. So unlikely that we can almost be sure that it will never happen.
That last answer is my humble opinion and not necessarily based upon fact, but you can read more about it in this book (http://www.amazon.com/Varieties-Scientific-Experience-Personal-Search/dp/1594201072). There's only one chapter devoted to that subject, but it's good enough to explain what I have failed to do. The rest of the book is good also :).
*Edit: Note that I'm not implying that there is no life on other planets, I think that it's very likely that there is. But I also think that it's highly improvable that they have reached us.
