I was just looking around Apple discussion forum for macbook air and found a thread similar to thin lines on mba screens. Well looks like it's solved !

The guy named Zone4DK called Apple Executive Relations, and they told him that a software/firmware fix was on its way for BOTH problems.
So stop whining it's on its way now.
By the way, its just piece of laptop..

No it's not !! Unless we actually get the update, it's not.
I was once told the same thing but the other time the Apple guy was clueless about the issues !!

Actually now, I don't know who to trust ? Apple Care or Apple Executive Relations. Btw, what kind of a role does the Apple Executive Relations plays? Haiz, Apple is so quiet about this issue.

Nothing is resolved until the problem as been corrected.

They always says a fix is coming. Why would a company tell customers they don't plan to ever fix it?

This is the most misleading thread title I have ever read.... Nothing has been resolved yet.

I'd be careful assuming that a fix is coming and going beyond the 2 week return period based on only this assumption...

I'm gonna say FAIL on this thread.
A resolved issue is not a promise from some dude claiming to be from Apple Executive Relations department. A fix is a fix when that little software update pops up and tells MB Air owners to download/install/restart.
Then it's a fix.

Wow, no idea if you were honestly trying to help or be a jerk, but I'm pretty sure you just pissed off all the Macbook Air owners that have the horizontal lines.
I could tell you that my 3rd cousin's best friend's sister says that Apple Executive Relations is still investigating the problem, but it would tell us just as much information as your post - which was jack all.
