I want to sell my Macbook but keep the programs intact so it will sell higher. Mainly I'm concerned about passwords saved in the keychain. How do I clear that data so that it is irretrievable. Also are there other things I should consider clearing?

Thanks

Still have the system disks (hopefully, you're including them in the sale)?

Just perform an erase and install. Unless you have top secret information, this is plenty secure.

You shouldn't be selling that machine with those apps installed without passing on the disks. Please do not ask for help with this matter on this forum, thanks.
