really ??????? i havent seen anyone here talking about those but then again i dont notice things which do not interest me...
I think it is a little harsh though if people like the music let them its personal prefernce... heck my music taste is absaloutely bonkers so im not one to talk i doubt you would call my taste decent... (nine inch nails, radiohead, beatsteaks, loads of electronic music but also loads of german stuff and then of course much classic music)
it is a matter of personal choice and everyone is different.

I agree 100%. All this talk on Britney Spears and Ashlee Simpson sickens me. I don't really find much of it here, its more on Mac-Forums.com.

I think coming here and assuming that "everyone" likes whatever crap you spewed out above is silly. The members here range in ages 13 (they may be younger) to 70 and maybe further. I would assume that most people like decent music as it is "decent" to them. Whether it fits your criteria is clearly another story.

The ambiguity of your question suggests you're just looking to stir it up around here, but in the spirit of answering a question ... yes, there are many people around here that actually like decent music as evidenced here for starters. Where are the threads about the artists you mentioned??? I don't see them, I know what you mean though. A lot of people here seem to be into popular music more than underground. I'm not a huge fan of commercialized music either, though rarely I do hear a decent song on the radio. I'm into 90s hip-hop, underground hip-hop(I ********* hate the "hip-hop" on the radio), ska, reggae, punk, classic rock(I guess thats as popular as my tastes go), also a little bit of metal and a little electronic.
