I was looking at the gateway site, just to see what the competition was up to, and came across this ad for the Gateway iPod ripoff, thats exactly the one apple has:

This is an "exact" ripoff...

Since when is the iPod advertised as a FM Tuner/Voice Recorder/Storage/Jukebox unit?

I've been trying to find that apple ad this rips off, but I can't really. It said Carry a tune, or 10,000

it seems that a lot of companies are doing the same thing, but the only thing i've seen that takes on the iPod is the dell digital jukebox because on their commercial, they have a little things in the top left saying up to twice the battery life of the ipod. at least it's something to that degree.

I remember that Apple ad. . .

there's nothing worse than being unoriginal. Isn't Gateway really hurting these days? Looks like they're trying to get all the help they can.

Oh, they are copying Apple's advertising.

My mistake...

So how can the 20 gb iPod hold only 5000 tunes but the Gateway one can hold 8000?

Does that mean that the gateway 40 gig (if one exists) can hold 16000 songs while the apple one only holds 10000?

:D

(said dripping with sarchasm).

Maybe the Gateway users have shorter attention spans and therefore listen to shorter songs.

Looks a lot more like a rip off of dell's mp3 player than the iPod
