Arent you the guy that has started this same thread at least twice already?!
No, the second gen is NOT jailbroken yet, if it were it would be all over popular tech sites like engadget, and especially gizmodo, and it would be on the front page of this site.
Edit: That is CLEARLY a first generation ipod touch in the video....

That is not a 2nd gen iPod Touch. See how he only very briefly points out where the volume controls should be? Because they aren't there? And he has to cover the lack of volume controls with a silicone case? lawls

Alright whats the rush to jailbreak?!? Besides the fact you can show off to your friends with crappy looking themes that should be abolished, what do you actually gain? App Store has 10,000+ apps. I don't think Cydia + Installer even equals half that.

yes i know, but themes are only half of what i want from the jailbreak. i also want the installous app, which allows you to download apps for free.

Well I for one love playing gameboy and gameboy advanced, and I have a few other goodies I cant mention here and still be within forum rules.
Jailbreaking is deffinatly worth it.
But again, THAT IS CLEARLY A FIRST GEN IPOD.
And srry TS, i guess that must have been someone else, my apologies.

The App Store also has free apps. And if anything, use Cydia. I heard it's much better than Installer on 2.x firmwares.

If and when some confirmation for a real jailbreak for the iPod touch second generation comes about, and you start a thread to discuss it (which you may), be smart enough to not discuss pirating applications in that thread, please. ;)
