HAHA

Read note 9!

http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/w32.netsky.d@mm.html

I'm kinda excited for 6am tomorrow.

Need I say more,
A.J.

That's a fun one...kind of counter-productive to announce the infection like that, though.

We'll see if there are any beeping PCs at work tomorrow. ;)

I'm having to use a PC at the moment, so that sort of thing really worries me...

You, sir, are an ***hole and an immature one at that. Only an ***hole, I'm seeing there are more then a few here, would like to see such a thing. Oh and guess what? I have 4 PC ( ) and none of them other then my server runs antivirus. Everything else has a firewall and I, unlike the average user on ANY platform, knows enough to delete e-mails I don't know where they came from. Platform is irrelevant. Using your brain is. To date I have never infected any of my systems with a virus and I got around to patching blaster only about 2 weeks ago. Security holes in MS Windows is not a problem with a good firewall. So in conclusion. Grow up. Or is that too much to ask for?
But obviously I interrupted a Mac user ego inflating session. Sorry. Continue.

Don't. Its an e-mail born virus. Use common sense and don't open an e-mail you don't know who its from or if you don't know where the attachment comes from. Sort of like getting a package in the mail that is from Libya that is ticking. Only an idiot would open it up.

When I get my 17" PowerBook whenever it comes out I'm planning on learning Applescript and see how powerful it is. I'm willing to bet you can do the majority of the things VB scrip does in AS and if so you CAN create a virus. Not planning on doing it but it would be a interesting, purely academic test.

I have several PCs and Macs in my house, but I have to say I really like viruses. I do a bit of freelance tec support ATM while I look for a new full time job and the more viruses people get infected with, the more work I get. I just loved the blaster virus. :D

Come on and be nice. Everyone goes through the time where you are glad to see Wintel machines go through times of trouble that Mac's don't have to worry about. That's another plus for the Macintosh platform.
