If you're giving away the Vista DVD as well,or you're buying the laptop, and you or the buyer cares about windows, you might add 100$ value do the laptop's...in my opinion about 600/700,depends how much warranty is left.

I would not pay more than $800 for the machine. Including all the accessories, probably $900 to $950 at the most.
