I recently got a copy of a cd that is in iso format. After looking around for a bit it seemed like everyone was saying that I needed to convert the iso to a dmg format.

I have tried to do this using disc utility but have not been able to get it to work like a normal dmg cd would on the standard OS X cd image mounter.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Oh, btw. The iso cd's are of neverwinter nights (although i think it is for both mac and windows). Also i don't know if I have been using the coversion part of disk helper right (it does not say .dmg specifically but i have tried the read-only option).

Any help would be much appreciated, and thanks in advance,

Matt

Is it the Windows version of neverwinter nights?? because if so then its not going to work on Mac even if you manage to convert it to a dmg because Mac games are different from Windows games.

The iso will either be the windows version or the mac version but not both

you can use this nice little free application to convert iso to dmg and dmg to iso for you

I'm going to guess that it is a PC version. This is the second game i have tried to install on a mac (first being WoW: WotLK) and i assumed that all games came ready to work on either OS. Guess I was wrong.

You realize that you're engaged in software piracy, which is illegal and will probably get you banned?
