Poll: Which do you prefer: Matte or Gloss?

Hey I was wondering which do you guys prefer? Matte or Gloss screens?

I guess I like both but I voted for gloss since it'll likely have a hard time here :D
I do photo work, pixel art, but mostly programming and photoshop art and the odd game. I've not hit any problems with it yet.

I have a Matte, and prefer for the work I do.

If I used my MBP solely for DVDs I'd probably like the Glossy.

I really like my iMac's glossy display! It's rich and colorful and although I have no problems with matte screens whatsoever, I prefer glossy.

There have been way too many threads on this.

It looks like Apple is going all glossy (except for the new anti-glare option for the 17" Macbook Pro), so I guess that's what they think everyone likes better. That's also probably what sells better too.

Yep - and since enough people complained about the no matte option, Apple provided it in the 17" - for a slight fee of course, since they knew people obviously wanted it so bad they would probably pay for it. :p Smart business if you ask me. ;)

I like the glossy screen on a laptop but not on a desktop (the new iMacs). I find it hard to read text on a matte screen if it is not lit well.

They know more people want Matte so they make that the one you charge for. :D

I want Matte anyway, my original MB wasn't that bad but i never really grew fond of the glossy screen. The new MBP is much glossier though and i found it hard to use in the store.

I like glossy. I have a penryn MacBook Pro and I chose the glossy screen because I just think it makes colors look better.
