Well, I just recieved me new macbook in December and iworks 09 was not released then. So unfortunately, I was stuck with the old iworks 08 that I just bought and today I downloaded the iworks 09 and used a serial thing to get for free. When I went through the whole process, I registered it with my real info. Am I doomed? I'm so dumb for registering my real info, I just realized I downloaded something pirated!
I know every downloads pirated software but does Apple actually pull the authorities on people?
Also, if they we're to find out who downloaded pirated software, Couldn't they have traced it to your macbook without even registering?
I think I'll try to sell my iworks 08 for cheap to get the iworks 09. :(
Thanks!

Just delete it. You'll be fine if you delete it. Reinstall iWork '08 in the interim if you wish.

You're fine. The software police won't get you.

I hardly think they'll come after you or even lose time or money to get you on trial for that. What about the other probably thousands of people who did the same? :apple:http://www.seoagora.com/img/589/d08l1104oulu/smiley2.gifhttp://www.seoagora.com/img/1261/v08t1201sxfb/cheers.gif

You'll soon be sharing a cell with Bernie Madoff! :D

Just delete it. You'll be fine if you delete it.
He needs to be quick though, the next Apple security review is this Thursday. If they go after the '09 serials following Macworld, they could be onto him as early as next weekend. Time to board up the windows.
Peace

If you have no morals I'm guessing nothing will happen.
