So it was a friend of a friend thing so I don't know how reliable the info is :confused:

What exactly do you mean by "killed the C&C franchise"? I play Zero Hour all the time, and it's not THAT old! Granted, that's on a game console (which is how I regard my winblows box), not a computer ;)

The original C&C and Red Alert were much better games. Generals is not really in the C&C universe. I hope the next C&C has NOD and GDI in it again.

Perhaps they were referring to the Half-Life 2 source code that was stolen and leaked recently.
