Is there any way to hack networks with the ipod touch.

Do you mean hack to get on them and mooch Wi-Fi, or hack for more malicious means?
It's not too important, because we won't be telling you either way, but I'm just curious.

Well every place i go i like to search the web and view emails when im waiting for something so just to be able to connect to it and do that kinda stuff

If you find an open Wi-Fi network that isn't yours, go ahead and get on it. It's a weird thing, but the way that the router and the device talk to each other (the FACT that they do, actually) makes it okay.
But if there are locked networks around for which you don't know the password, it's illegal to crack them.

We can acknowledge that it happens, but that doesn't make it right.
At any rate, we won't be helping him do it here, and I don't believe that it's even possible to do with only an iPod touch at your disposal.

its a bit pointless as the touch cant send packets to sniff or something so it's not worth it and oh yeah IT'S ILLEGAL
