call me sad but the nvidia homepage has an image riped from an educational textbook religion and life the blanked out design on the skatebord is a devil fork thingy
if only i could use my photoghraphic memory to spell :(

They are most likely stock images that you can buy from some company.

They are most likely stock images that you can buy from some company.I fully expected to find it in Getty Images (http://creative.gettyimages.com/source/search/resultsmain.asp?source=quickSearch&brand=allbrands&selImageType=7&chkLicensed=on&chkRoyaltyFree=on&txtSearch=skateboard+man&UQR=niuuwu) But maybe I did the wrong search.

and getty's not the only stock house out there -- it may have come from somewhere else. but that's the problem with stock, especially if it uses people's faces. they're more recognizeable than you might think.
the magazine i work for used a stock image on the cover a few months ago. a few weeks later, a full-page ad in the NY Times used the same image... nothing you can do about it.
