Leaked Photos of Next Generation iPhone?

Is it just me or does the picture of the new generation iPhone look as if the "matte" finish is just a skin that has been put on the existing iPhone 3G?

If you take a close look at the camera ... to me it looks like a skin. Firstly the camera does not line up and secondly, the matte case looks ever-so thin .... like a skin would be ... also, where the silent switch is ... looks as if the case/skin has been cut to allow room to access it.

Anyone else notice this? :confused:

Yes it does look like a case or something. I don't think Apple will ever make anything like that. (Note: I said "I don't THINK"- Meaning, I don't expect Apple to, I would be very surprised if they did)

Maybe the matte finish is a stronger back cover and wont crack as easy as the current 3g.

Well yes, all the ones except the last ones look a little like cases, but the bottom on doesn't at all.

well maybe the OP didn't look for the thread. big deal. does every thread gotta have ignorant comments though? who cares if there's another thread. it will get merged together or closed.

Dude, me and the OP have already met good terms. It turns out (s)he didn't know that there was another thread.

And that's my point. If another thread is made on one that there already is one on, then that make more work for the mods and just irritates them.
